My shopping cart is messed up what do I do?
How can your customers buy from you? If your customers want your product and they can’t get the cart to work, they are going to go immediately and find it somewhere else. You may have lost them. You don’t send someone into a grocery store to buy apples without providing them a bag. At the very least explain to clients why you shortchanged them and provide a date by which the store and your products will be available.
Give your shoppers the chance to purchase something in a reasonable fashion and instill trust in you as a vendor by providing them with an experience that conveys ease and usability. This is your store. Don’t make it difficult or confusing or it’s like giving a client change from your wallet when you’re standing at the register. It’s awkward.
Convey your position as a reputable store first, then ask them to get their money out. You have but one shot, so make it count. Would you buy a TV from a store with no windows and a sign that’s half lit? Don’t let appearance and function (or lack of those) be the barrier to shopping with you. Gears move best when oiled. Make it smooth, make it natural and don’t make them wait.
