Blogging for websites is like feeding a stray cat: keep putting out food, the cat keeps coming around.
When you write new content, search engines like it and send people to your website because it has the freshest information on a topic people are searching for.
Websites need constant fresh content (aka: information) words that are new and original to help the site to be found in search engine results.
One client who does his own blogging is Byron Ruiz, CEO, owner, accountant, staff and Master Cobbler of Bymar Shoes in Maitland. Byron opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. He works Saturdays until 2 p.m. He’s a father, he has lots to do every day.
But Byron takes time for his website because it’s free self-promotion. It also shares his expertise with his clients.
Bymar Shoes had a unique opportunity in the Maitland and Winter Park, Florida, community to capture an existing group of clients who needed Orthotics, Orthopedics and Shoe Repair. There was one shoe repair shop in the area before Byron opened his shop on 1630 S. Orlando Ave.
But that store closed several years ago leaving a void in the market. Byron also offers custom orthotics–he makes custom orthotics and orthopedics and fits them.
Many who use and need orthotics have to go to expensive stores, endure long waits for their products–which are ordered.
Not with Bymar Shoes. Byron custom fits orthotics and orthopedics and will build and construct orthotic devices with a prescription. He provides repairs and rebuilds of existing orthopedic and orthotic elements at very reasonable rates. He will not prescribe or diagnose any condition.
When Byron moved to the area, he was able to start his new business in January 2010 with a service that was very much in demand.
Byron’s work is outstanding and he’s had extensive training in orthotics and orthopedics. But his open and helpful demeanor with his clients keeps people coming back.

Bymar Shoes has a new domain name, his website launched in fall 2011. It will be found online in local searches for orthotics, orthopedics, shoe repair and canvas marine covers.
