Dear Web Guy:
I have Norton Anti-virus on my laptop. I still get viruses. Am I doing something wrong?

Dear Sick:
Norton Anti-Virus catches most viruses but not all. PC Viruses are continuously changing and you have to allow regular updates and do constant scans outside of the scheduled. To keep up using Norton do the following daily:
- Start your computer and open Norton PC Security
- Click: Quick Scan
- Before shutting down open Norton PC Security
- Click: Comprehensive Scan
- Click the box that says, “shut down computer after scan is complete” You must have anti-virus protection on your computer or you will get a virus. It’s not a matter of if, but when. Be aware of the fact that you have to purchase protection EVERY YEAR. McAfee is a free version of virus protection But it WILL NOT protect your computer from attacks. It’s a free “Band-aid.”
